Alison provided us with a very detailed look at her life as a weaver & its commerciality. Having loved weaving from a very early stage, life's roads & turns meant she didn't return to her true passion until later in life, but it has proved a great success, listening to her many awards & selections for exhibitions. She described how the designed was created from pattern to fabric & although modern technology speeded up some processes the traditional loom ( or looms as Alison had more than 1) still had the ultimate role.
