We all went cupcake crazy at yesterday's young embroiderers' group. We started off by making these yummy cupcakes out of suffolk puff and felt ball. In the afternoon we did some printing using polstyrene sheets and finished off with a cupcake to eat as a reward fo all the hard work.
Chelford and North Cheshire Branch of the Embroiderers Guild meet at Chelford Village Hall (SK11 9AS) at 7.30pm usually on the third Wednesday of the month. Sheila Smith Felting July 2012
We have certainly finished off this year on a high point with a talk and workshop by Sheila Smith. Her talk on Wednesday evening was very inspirational and was really well attended. Those lucky enough to obtain a place on her workshop on Thursday had a wonderful time creating a piece of textured felt using the shibori method.
